Algonquin Provincial Park

Over 7500 square Km conservation area, containing forests, rivers and thousands of lakes, is located in south central part of Ontario, just around three hours drive from Toronto.

 

London

London is located almost 200km west of Toronto. It is the largest city after GTA (Great Toronto  Area) & Hamilton, in the south west Ontario. Its metropolitan area population is near half million people.

 

Windsor & Detroit

Windsor is almost the southernmost city of Canada and it is separated from Detroit (the largest city of Michigan) by the Detroit river.

 

St. Jacobs

It is located just near one and half hour drive from Toronto and it is just beside Kitchener-Waterloo. This beautiful village is famous for its Mennonite heritage

 

 

Niagara Falls Views & Niagara Area Views

Niagara Falls is one of the most amazing and popular attractions of Canada, the USA and the world. Niagara Falls, which is located at the border between province of Ontario and the state of New York, is transferring water between lakes Erie and Ontario. Niagara Falls is not mainly famous for its height, but it is famous for its power and the incredible amount of water (average, near 2,000 cubic meters per second) which fall from it. It is just one and half hour drive from Toronto.

 

Ottawa Views

Ottawa is the capital city of Canada, where the Canadian parliament is located. Ottawa-Gatineau is located at the border of Ontario and Quebec and can be considered as a real bilingual Canadian city. The part of the city that is in the province of Quebec is called Gatineau and it is completely different from the other part of city in Ontario (Ottawa). Ottawa and Gatineau are separated by the Ottawa river. It is around four-five hours drive from Toronto and it can be reached from Montreal in near two hours. You can find lots of cultural attractions such as Canadian heritage, museums and beautiful architectures in Ottawa. If you love history and culture, Ottawa by sure can be a wonderful trip destination for you.

 

Cobourg, Ontario

Cobourg is a small town just 120 km far east of Toronto. In the below photos, one can find several beautiful photos from the icy lake Ontario shore after a windy weather. The very fast winds (faster than 50km per hour) brought water to the shore and have covered every things in the area just by the lake with thick layers of ice. Beside these structures, the beautiful winter life in the Cobourg shore can be seen in these photos.

 

 

Toronto Views & Toronto Festivals

Several festivals and events are going on inside Toronto during both warm and cold weather times. Most of the cold weather time festivals are held inside the Nathan Phillips Square, while the warm weather ones are more scattered inside the city.
